DRA Machine Privacy Policy

1. Introduction
Bile Beans For Biliousness Pty Ltd ("we", "us", or "our") operates the DRA Machine mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App. By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. If you do not agree with the terms of this Privacy Policy, please do not access or use the App.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide
When you create an account or use the App, we may collect information that you voluntarily provide, including:
- Account registration information (such as email address, display name, or phone number) provided through Google Firebase Authentication
- In-game data, including roleplay content, choices, and interactions with AI-generated content
- Any information you voluntarily share within the App, such as profile details or user-generated content
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
When you use the App, certain information is collected automatically, including:
- Device Information: device model, operating system and version, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information
- Transaction Data: records of in-app purchases and transactions, used to assist with account management, purchase verification, and customer support
- Usage Data: information about how you interact with the App, such as session duration, features used, and in-game actions
- IP Address: collected by third-party services integrated into the App (see Section 2.3)
2.3 Information Collected by Third-Party Services
The App uses third-party services that may collect information about you. These services include:
Google Firebase Authentication
We use Google Firebase Authentication to manage user sign-in and account creation. Firebase Authentication may collect your email address, phone number, password (stored in hashed form), user agent string, and IP address for the purpose of authenticating your identity and securing your account. Firebase Authentication data is processed in the United States. For more information, see Google's Privacy Policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
Google AdMob
We use Google AdMob to serve advertisements within the App. AdMob and the Google Mobile Ads SDK may automatically collect and share the following information for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention purposes:
- Advertising identifiers (such as Google Advertising ID or Apple IDFA)
- IP address
- Device information and diagnostic data
- User interaction data (such as ad views and taps)
- Cookies and similar tracking technologies
AdMob may use this data to serve personalised or interest-based advertisements. You can opt out of personalised advertising through your device settings (Android: Settings > Google > Ads; iOS: Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking). AI Inference
When you chat with an AI character in the App, the text of your message, the conversation context, and a scenario system prompt are transmitted to our AI inference provider for the sole purpose of generating the AI character's reply.
We do not send our AI inference provider any information that identifies you — no email, no account ID, no Firebase UID, no device identifier. Only the chat text and the scenario system prompt are sent.
Our AI inference provider may retain and use messages sent through its API to improve and train its AI models in accordance with its own terms of service. We do not control our provider's retention or training practices.
If you do not wish your chat text to be transmitted to or processed by our AI inference provider, do not use the chat feature of the App.
We also log inbound and outbound messages on our own infrastructure for moderation, safety filtering, abuse prevention, and debugging. See Section 6 (Data Retention).
Firebase Cloud Messaging
We use Firebase Cloud Messaging ("FCM") to send push notifications. FCM receives a device push token associated with your installation of the App and the content of any notification we send. For more information, see Google's Privacy Policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
Firebase App Check
We use Firebase App Check to verify that requests to our backend come from a genuine, unmodified instance of the App. App Check generates short-lived device attestation tokens; it does not receive personally identifying information.
RevenueCat
We use RevenueCat to manage in-app subscriptions and purchases. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user identifier, your platform receipt data, and purchase status. For more information, see RevenueCat's privacy policy at revenuecat.com/privacy.
Infrastructure Providers
Your account data and chat history are stored on managed cloud infrastructure provided by third-party hosting and database providers. These providers process data on our behalf and do not use it for their own purposes.
Consent Choices
Where required by law (for example, in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland), we will ask you to consent to personalised advertising the first time you open the App. On iOS, we will also ask for your permission to use the Advertising Identifier under App Tracking Transparency. You can revisit and change these choices at any time from the in-app settings menu by tapping "PRIVACY OPTIONS". Withdrawing consent will not remove advertisements from the App, but ads you see will no longer be personalised based on your activity.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To provide, operate, and maintain the App and its features
- To manage your account and provide customer support
- To process in-app transactions and verify purchases
- To improve and develop the App, including through AI training and model improvement
- To serve advertisements through AdMob
- To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or technical issues
- To comply with applicable laws and legal obligations
4. AI Training and Data Usage
The App is an AI-based roleplay game. Your in-game interactions and content may be used to train and improve our AI models. This data is collected and used in a completely anonymous manner. No personally identifiable information is associated with the training data unless you choose to share your data, in which case it may be associated with your game ID.
You may control your data sharing preferences through the App's settings. Opting out of data sharing will not affect your ability to use the App.
5. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
We may share your information in the following limited circumstances:
- Service Providers: We share data with Google (Firebase Authentication, Firebase Cloud Messaging, Firebase App Check, AdMob, Cloud Run), our AI inference provider (AI inference), RevenueCat (in-app purchases), and third-party cloud infrastructure providers (database, cache, object storage, and backend hosting) as described in Section 2.3, solely for the purposes of operating the App.
- Legal Obligations: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (such as a court order or government agency).
- Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
- Protection of Rights: We may disclose your information where we believe it is necessary to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding potential violations of our policies, suspected fraud, or threats to the safety of any person.
6. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with services. Chat messages sent to the AI are logged on our infrastructure for moderation, safety filtering, abuse prevention, and debugging, and are retained while your account is active. We may retain your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations (including Australian tax and accounting retention requirements for transaction records), resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Anonymous data used for AI training may be retained indefinitely.
Where you submit a report of another user's content, or a moderation action has been taken on your account, we may retain a record of that action even after the underlying content has been deleted, for the purpose of enforcing our Terms of Service.
7. Data Security
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
All network traffic between the App and our backend, and between our backend and the third-party services listed in Section 2.3, is encrypted in transit using Transport Layer Security (TLS).
8. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed at children under the age of 16 (or the applicable age of consent in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we can take appropriate action.
9. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, including the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate personal information
- Request deletion of your personal information
- Object to or restrict the processing of your personal information
- Data portability
- Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent
To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the details provided in Section 12. We will respond to your request in accordance with applicable law.
Account Deletion: You may delete your account and associated data at any time. The fastest method is in the App: Profile > Settings > Delete Account. You can also submit a deletion request at bilebeans.com/account-deletion or by reaching out via our contact page. That page describes what is deleted, what is retained, and the timeframe for action.
Chat messages you have previously sent to our AI inference provider were transmitted for the sole purpose of generating replies. They were sent without any identifier that would link them back to you — no email, no account ID, no device identifier — only the message text and the scenario system prompt. Our AI inference provider may retain and use those messages to train its AI models under its own terms. Because those messages were not tied to you at the time of sending, our AI inference provider is not able to identify or delete them on a per-account basis on your request.
9.1 User-Generated Content
When you choose to share a chat to the global feed, the chat transcript and your display name become visible to other users of the App. You can delete your shared chats from your profile at any time. Other users can report or block you; reports are reviewed by automated moderation and, where necessary, by us. We retain moderation records for the purposes described in Section 6 (Data Retention).
10. International Data Transfers
Your information may be transferred to, processed in, and stored on servers located outside your country of residence, including in the United States, the European Union, and other regions where our service providers operate. Providers we use are identified in Section 2.3. By using the App, you consent to these transfers.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Privacy Policy within the App or at bilebeans.com/privacy-policy. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy.
